New Accessories

Sarah is always admiring my bedroom shoes so I got her some. She likes them. It also got cold enough for her new winter hat and mittens. She's good at keeping them on, even in the car. November 18th, 2008

I'm Proud of America!

Yayyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yayyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!! Yayyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations to you all for electing a great man to be the next President of the United States!!!

I am so proud that I could be a part of the history making event. Standing in line for 2 hours and 20 minutes is the least I can do considering all those that came before me that fought and lost their lives so that I could vote and so that Obama can become President of the United States!

Here are some election day pictures. We waited in line to make our county blue!
Unfortunately, it posted the pictures in backwards order.

Adventures In Eating

November 1st, 2008

Sarah eats out of a bowl for the first time. Of course, she still mainly plays with the bowl.

Sarah has started tearing her food into pieces. Today she tore up a whole mini waffle and then ate the pieces. I guess she was doing what I do.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

October 31st, 2008
Sarah and I went to a nursing home for a Halloween Parade this morning with friends. The patients had Alzheimers and demetia. The lady said many of them don't smile but had smiled today. Sarah shook a few hands and I got her to laugh but for the most part she wanted me to hold her (see below). She got so many compliments on her candy corn dress...Tia Joy.

Our friend Patricia took this picture for us. Sarah was ready for her nap.

Well rested and fed.
