Got Milk?

August 25th, 2008
Sarah had her first taste of cow's milk today. I say taste because she's not interested at all. She just wants water.
"Drink please."

"What the?!"

"YUCK!"

"This still isn't water."

Look Ma! No Hands!

August 15th, 2008

This is Sarah walking without holding on to anything. She can already go around stuff and u-turn. Her form looks pretty good.

August 13th, 2008
Sarah handled her breathing treatments last night and this morning well. Super Why! on PBS is her show and she will sit still to watch it.

Tooth #3

August 12th, 2008
Sorry these pictures are blurry but I had a moving target. The new tooth is to the right of the other two on the bottom.
Sarah's cough isn't much better. We have to do breathing treatments twice a day and then we go back to the doctor on Monday.

Whoa! That girl can go!

August 11th, 2008

Sarah has been afraid to let go and walk on her own. She would take a couple small steps. But on Sunday she picked up the ball and took a few steps. Well, today she really got going. Would walk and stop on her own without falling. AND I GOT IT ON TAPE!!!!!!!!

By the way, I took Sarah to the doctor to check on her cough and she is 19 lbs and 12 oz.

Oh! One more thing. Sarah has a new tooth on the bottom. Found that while trying to brush her teeth which she has been resisting for a few days now.

Laughter

August 5th, 2006

Just some random laughter to brighten your day.

Sarah has her first cold but she's handling it well. Pray for a speedy recover.

Red Hair

August 5th, 2008

I thought these pictures show Sarah's red hair pretty well. You can really see it in the sunlight.
Sarah has been trying to read while standing unassisted. She's not really good at it yet.

The Feet That Will Walk, The Hands That Will Build

August 4th and 6th, 2008
One Mom told me to enjoy Sarah's soft feet because once they start walking, they start toughening up. I thought I would get some pictures of those soft feet that I love so much.

When I start getting Sarah out of the highchair, she "plays" with the 3 way harnest. Well, she's not playing because on this day she almost got it snapped.

Peak-A-Boo

August 3rd, 2008

Sarah is learning her words and I've been trying to teach her to say cup or water. Sometimes she will drink and then eat more. When she wants to feed herself, she bangs on the tray. "Finger food please" isn't going to take I don't think. She has signed "all done" but she has done it when she's not really done. Anyways, she'll be talking soon enough.

Resident Appreciation by the Pool

August 2nd, 2008

Our apartment complex had Resident Appreciation Day and cooked out by the pool. We joined in the festivities, ate and hung out by the pool IN THE SHADE. We have several neighbors that are very kind to Sarah.
