Happy Ron's First Daddy's Day! Daddy's Day!

June 15th, 2008 Early morning play with DADDY! These are 12 to 18 month PJs by the way. Sarah is really getting tall!
Breakfast of cereal and bananas was dedicated to DADDY!
I wrote some of Sarah's favorite sayings on Daddy's card for Sarah. She did a great job signing her name and really paid attention as she drew a little something on the back of Daddy's card.
Sarah picked out Daddy's card.
Daddy was treated to lunch at a nearby sandwich shop. Sarah even sang him a song...really loudly! He deserved it because he's a good Daddy. Sarah loves to play with her Daddy and loves to read books with him.
HAPPY DADDY'S DAY, RON!!!!

All Grown Up Part II

June 1st, 2008
We were also able to attend Shoni's baccalaureate ceremony while we were home. She was very happy and excited about graduating. Shoni graduated from the same high school that most of the family attended.
Sarah got pretty loud during the program. The quieter it got, the louder she got.
Shoni and her cousin Treva.
Shoni and her great aunts and uncle, grandparents, aunties, uncle, cousins, parents and brother. If you look closely, Sarah is smiling because she's just pulled off Shoni's graduation cap! That's the tassle flying infront of Sarah.
The beautiful graduate.

All Grown Up Part I

May 24th, 2008
Our niece Dashona attended her senior prom! Look! She's so grown! I realize I've only known Dashona for 8 years but she's grown and matured so much. And she's still sweet as can be. I'm so glad we were able to be there to share this moment with her. "Isn't she lovvvvvely!"
"Isn't she wonderful!"
Shoni and her proud parents.
Shoni and Robert.

First Pool is the BIG Pool

Happy Birthday, Grandpa!!!
June 7th, 2008
We know how Sarah's Grandpa loves the water so we went up to the pool this morning so Sarah could have her first dip. It's been over 100 degrees here for the last couples days! Whew!
We went home for a visit and I was unable to blog and for other reasons, I don't have as much access to our digital pictures so blogging had halted and probably won't be as frequent. We had a good visit home but we are still happy to be back. I hope to post a web album of those pictures very soon.

Sarah wasn't really into the pool. She didn't really want to be in the floaty thing and didn't want Daddy dipping her in. She was more interested when some kids started showing up but we were ready to go then. It was hot!
