T minus.....

Our Baby on April 17th, 2007

Good morning. Yesterday was Due Day. No, baby's not here yet.

So yesterday, I finally became "ready". I don't know if it was me being tired, my doctor's gentle touch, me eating lunch late or all the stupid questions and comments from co-workers. Maybe it was the combination of all those things. Maybe it was just knowing that my baby has spent every day necessary getting the nourishment that she needs. Maybe it was her big knees wearing out the tender spots on my belly. Or maybe it's knowing that my next appointment if with my least favorite doctor in the practice. Whatever it was, I am now asking her to come on.

It's been a wonderful experience. I've had a happy pregnancy. We are so blessed. Ok, now let's have a baby!!!!! PLEASE!

Hi, All! The baby's not here yet...because that's the answer to the most asked question in the world. :) Today I am 39 weeks and 6 days. We are all doing well. Trying to rest a lot.

I finished a 16 by 16 with the cross in the middle sudoku last night. I was so impressed with myself but it was a real bummer that it was over. I thought I would still have that thing in my purse when we went to the hospital.

So I'm not miserable but I decided today that I'm ok with her coming at any time now. I know what has to happen and I'm ok with it. May we all be healthy is all I really want.

I found it interesting that I wanted to wear a regular t-shirt today. I haven't worn a t-shirt in many months and when I did I didn't like it because I didn't think I looked pregnant, just like I had a pot belly. Well who knew a regular t-shirt could fit like this. Oh so comfortable but I do look like I slid a basketball into my shirt.

Future Mommy, future Daddy and Baby had Ye Ole Waffle Shop in Chapel Hill today!!!!!!!!!! Yayyy!!!!! I keep thinking that every meal may be my last before they tell me I can't eat anything. Well, right now I am so satisfied and so ok with that being my last one for a day or so.

I feel like I'm babbling. Is anyone interested in this stuff? I'm really excited to share stories about our new baby girl...when she gets here...sometime between now and September 10th.
